All of Upolu Island is accessible from Fialupe Beach House. You may just choose to stay ‘home’ and explore the stunning secluded beaches around you and submerse yourself in your surroundings. To Sua Trench
Iconic Samoan must see ! – Stunning natural land formation and lava tube cave. The lush garden grounds offer day fales, cliff top views, rock pools and blowholes to explore.

Coastal Walk
Ancient lava field set in a national park. Walk through the pandanus trees along the high cliff tops with stunning views, and crashing waves before arriving at the lave field.
Cost: Free

Sopoaga Waterfall
Look across this tropical gorge to view the waterfall. The garden setting features many types of Samoan plant and trees.
Cost: $10pp

Palolo Deep
Snorkel in this Marine reserve with diverse coral & tropical fish. Located on the edge of Apia. Its shallow to swim out to the Deep, a medium-high tide is better. Head to the marker out in the water and you can’t miss the beautiful Deep.

Robert Louis Stevenson Museum
The Scottish authors Samoan home. Stroll the lush gardens & take a tour through his home hearing the stories from your guide.

Surfing
Guests have been enjoying surfing in front of the Beach House passed the reef wall …(not consistent, weather dependent)
Manoa Tours – boat trips to the outer reef breaks. Pre-booking is recommended.

Lalomanu
Stunning stretch of white sand and turquoise waters. A popular must see beach lined with traditional beach fales.
Cost: Depending on whos front ‘yard’ you park at!

Giant Clams
Amazing colourful giant clams set in a stunning idyllic bay. The local village has made it a marine reserve to protect and grow the clam population. Take your snorkel mask and try at lower tide. A must see located in our neighbouring village.

Piula Cave Pool
Natural crystal clear freshwater spring fed pool, and cave of an old lava tube. With your snorkel mask you will see the stunning cave water colour from underwater.

Namua Island
A small island just a 10min boat ride from the mainland. Great day trip or overnight stay. Climb to the top of the island, enjoy the snorkeling and relax on the beach.

Ma Tree
Walk through lush rainforest to this ancient tree with wall like root formations.
Cost: Free

Togitogiga Waterfall
Cool off in this beautiful swimming spot set in a National Park. Said to be used by great warriors in ancient times.
Cost: Free

Vavau Beach
Stunning lagoon with its own small island and neighbouring beach.
Cost: $50 for a medium car

Manono Island
A local 20min boat ride can take you to the beautiful island. There are no cars or roads, just one natural walking track around the island, passing through villages and beaches, taking about 2 hours.
Half day trip
Cost: approx. $200 for 4 – 6 people

Fuipisia Falls
Beautiful setting with two viewing spots. Look across to the waterfall and also experience the power of standing at the top of the water flow and swim in the rock pools.

Markets in Apia
Looking for something to take home. Weaving, carvings, souvenirs and clothes are all available at the many stalls. Perhaps some fruit & vegetables for your selfconatined Beach House.
